About Fentora — London Painters & Decorators
Fentora Decorators is a London painting and decorating firm working across the capital, from Victorian terraces in the south to Georgian townhouses in the centre and new-build flats out east. We take on interior and exterior decorating for homeowners, landlords, letting agents and small commercial clients.
We are a small outfit by choice. The person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it, and there is nobody standing between you and the work.
Years on the tools, now running our own firm
Our team brings years of painting and decorating experience to the table, having spent much of that time working on behalf of major contractors across London. We founded Fentora Decorators in 2026 for a straightforward reason: we saw too many jobs being rushed at the preparation stage just to hit an arbitrary schedule.
While the business is new, the hands doing the work are not. Every technique mentioned on this site—from cutting in without tape to releasing a clogged Victorian cornice or hanging hand-printed wallpaper around a bay window—is a skill we have perfected many times over on local properties.
As a new company, we know we have something to prove. We prefer to prove it by getting the unglamorous parts right the first time, rather than just talking about it.
How we work
Four commitments we make on every job, whether it is a single bedroom in Balham or a whole house in Highgate.
We turn up
If we say Tuesday, it is Tuesday. If something changes we tell you before the day, not on it. It is a low bar and the most common complaint about our trade.
We leave it clean
Dust sheets down before anything comes out of the van. We hoover and clean at the end of every day, so you can still live in your home while we are in it.
We say what it costs
Written, itemised quotations with no "from" pricing. If something unexpected appears behind the wallpaper, we stop and speak to you before spending your money.
We stand behind it
A workmanship guarantee on everything we do. If something is not right, we come back and put it right. No argument and no invoice.
